Nepal started to provide manpower force to overseas
countries since the last century. History shows that the British
hired Nepalese Gurkhas to join their military forces and
established the Gurkha Regiment in 1815. Since that period
British, Indian, singapore and Brunei have regularly being
recruiting thousand of Nepalese Gurkhas every year for their
special Gurkha Regiment.
Over
the past years, especially the middle Eastern Countries have shown
interest in hiring Nepalese workers and the demands of Nepalese
workers are increasing day by day in the recruitment market
because of lower cost and devoted to their duties, loyal to their
employers, experienced in working in the extreme climatic
condition are the other reason of increasing number of employment
opportunity of Nepalese workers. The employers do get the
advantage of wider choice due to availability of skilled,
semiskilled and unskilled workers almost all fields and vocation
who are readily available for immediate placement. |
